I started my programmer career over 21 years ago doing COBOL and SAS on a MVS mainframe. It didn't take long for me to move into windows programming. I started my windows programming in Delphi (Pascal) with a Microsoft SQL server back end. I started working with vb.net when the beta 2 came out in 2001. After spending most of my programming life as a windows programmer I started to check out asp.net in 2004. I achieved my MCSD.net in April 2005. I have done a lot of MS SQL database stuff. I have a lot of experience with Window Service and Web services as well. I spent three years as a consultant programing in C#. I really enjoyed it and found the switch between vb.net and C# to be mostly syntax. In my current position I am programming in C# working on WPF and MSSql database stuff. Swing's buttons support mnemonic (to be triggered via keyboard short-cut with alt key). VK_B); // can activate via Alt-B (buttons only) cp.add(button); // Create a JTextField with text and icon and set its appearances JTextField textField = new. Like buttons, they trigger ActionEvent when user hits the 'enter' key. Using JavaScript to prevent or trigger form submission when ENTER is hit. How to make a jButton respond to Enter key. And ActionMap as shown in the java. Through/past the JTextFields to the button with the tab key and then. Lately I have been using VS2015. On a personal note I am a born again Christian, if anyone has any questions about what it means to have a right relationship with God or if you have questions about who Jesus Christ is, send me an e-mail. This is the code I'm using. I'm working towards a peer to peer 'IM' and I want to know how to activate my send message button with the enter key. I also want to know. The only way (it appears) to fix this is to go add Enter key listeners on the cancel buttons. That seems like it should be entirely unnecessary to get proper UI behavior. The defaults should handle this automatically (if it is a cancelButton, consume the Enter key) and there should be an easy method for us to. Ben.kubicek[at]netzero[dot]com You need to replace the [at] with @ and [dot] with. For the email to work. My relationship with God gives purpose and meaning to my life. I think your problem is that you put the panels inside of each other. I took your code from above and put the panels just around the text box and label and button. Hope this helps: Retrieve Booking Retrieve Quotation. Well, first I am assuming that you are writing.net code. In a lot of cases when you write asp.net you will have a code behind page. So if your page name with the html in it is mypage.aspx then there is usually a codebehind page named mypage.aspx.vb or mypage.aspx.cs depending if you are writing it in VB.net or C#. So in both of those pages you often set up a PageLoad event that fires when the page loads. The reason I use the if(!IsPostBack), this is C# by the way, is then it only happens the first time the page loads. Any other button clicks etc would be post backs. You can put code behind in the actual html page if you don't want a physical code behind file, but that is perhaps another discussion. If you are not dealing with.net and are using pure HTML then my comment doesn't apply. There is no code behind for html. If you are writing asp then you can write vb script, but I am really a.net guy so I wouldn't be able to tell you much about old asp.
